Second Body Found Following Brothers’ Tragic Thermalito Afterbay Hunting Accident (Update)

UPDATE: The body was positively identified as the second brother per ABC 10 in Sacramento.

ABC 10 has details as this sad story has apparently come to an end, though as of this morning the body had not been positively identified:

The Sheriff’s Office said the body was found shortly after 9 a.m. Sunday at Thermalito Afterbay but has not been positively identified through DNA analysis.

A person walking on the shore of the west bank of Thermalito Afterbay, south of the Hwy. 162 bridge made the discovery, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The body of Andruw Cornett was found on Jan. 1.
