Waterfall Accident Leads To Death Of Yosemite NP Visitor

Tragedy struck a group of visitors to Yosemite National Park. Here’s more from KRON 4 in the Bay Area:

In a statement to Nexstar’s KSEE, the National Park Service (NPS) confirmed the incident, adding that it “remains under investigation,” but did not provide further details.

The Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office, however, confirmed the victim was 22-year-old Josue Bairesalfaro, who was killed following the incident at Yosemite’s Nevada Fall.

According to witness accounts shared to social media, the 22-year-old was with a group of friends when they were dragged by the current on top of Nevada Falls.
