Veterans: Apply For Monterey County Pig Hunt Giveaway

The California chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is hosting a contest for a military veterans’ special pig hunt in Monterey County.

ATTENTION VETERANS!

The South Central Coast Chapter of the RMEF just had their successful 2026 Big Game Banquet Fundraiser and as a result we are getting ready to host our annual Veteran Pig Hunt Giveaway!

The hunt will take place in Monterey County on private acreage. Transportation during the hunt will be provided. Lodging and meals are included!

Hunt Dates:

April 17-18th, 2026

April 24-25th, 2026

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE REQUIRED TO APPLY:

Veteran of Armed Services

California Resident

Possess a current CA Hunting License

Appropriate Caliber Hunting Rifle – .243 or larger

California Compliant Ammo (lead free)

Transportation To & From Hunt Site in Monterey County
