Public Comment Period Open To Discuss San Diego National Wildlife Refuge Hunting Regulations

The refuge is seeking public review and comment on a minor change to the hunting Code of Federal Regulations removing the shot shell limit at the Otay lakes hunt unit in San Diego National Wildlife Refuge.  The public is invited to review the draft hunt plan which is available at Federal Register docket number: FWS – HQ- NWRS- 2025-08621.

The comment period will stay open for 45-days from May 15 through June 30, 2025.  Please submit your comments directly through the Federal Register.
