One Fatality After Fishing Boat Wrecks Along Rocks By Golden Gate Bridge
This one hits close to home after we wrote about a rockfishing adventure a few years back, with our boat traveling the same path under the Golden Gate Bridge.

News has broken that a boat struck rocks under the Golden State Bridge, resulting in one death and more serious injuries. Here’s more from KRON 4 TV:
Multiple agencies, including the U.S. Coast Guard and fire departments from both the San Francisco and Marin County sides of the bridge, responded at 6:10 a.m. to the 25-foot vessel in distress. It was determined that the boat crashed on the Marin County side of the bridge and was beginning to capsize.
Personnel on a San Francisco Police Department Marine Unit boat rescued the three individuals from their fishing vessel and brought them to the north shoreline. They were rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, SFPD said.
One of the victims was pronounced deceased at the hospital. His identity was not immediately released.
