Lake Del Valle Fishing Report

November 29, 2013

The water temperature is 57 degrees at the end of the dock. Fishing has been pretty consistent from the last week to this week. The great catch this week has been two Stripers that Stephanie Teng pulled out on different days this week each weighing over 14 lbs. she was using a silver 7 gram spoon casting and retrieving by the Dam. Trout have been still biting off of Powerbait of bright colors such as Chartreuse or Spring Green, Kastmasters, and Night Crawlers along the Lower Narrows and East Beach best from shore. Catfish have been biting off of Anchovies and Night Crawlers in the Lower Narrows by down trees or brush. Largemouth and Smallmouth bass have been very rarely heard of but the occasional hit on a Spook or Pointer seem to do the trick anywhere throughout the lake Anglers need to really go searching for them.

 Fish Plants:

11-21-13 750lbs. of Trout from Mt. Lassen.

11-27-13 1000lbs. of Trout from Mt. Lassen.
