Golden State Salmon Association’s Ladies’ Fishing Trip Set For June 8

The Golden State Salmon Association’s all-ladies’ salmon fishing trip has been a big success in the past (our frequent collaborator Nancy Rodridguez tagged along and wrote a great piece a few years back). Now, with a limited ocean salmon season set for a few dates this late spring and early summer, the a 2025 trip is back on.

GSSA all-ladies salmon fishing trips are back! Join us on the New Captain Pete out of Fisherman’s Wharf on day two of the salmon opener, June 8. This will be a true all-ladies trip with Captain Melynda and her amazing crew.

Whether you are a salmon fishing expert, or you want to learn and experience the thrill of catching your first fish, this ladies fishing trip is going to be a day you’ll never forget. There are limited spots available and it will sell out quick, so jump aboard! 

When: Sunday, June 8, 2025

Time: 5:30am – 4:00pm (ish)

Where: The New Captain Pete, 2951 Hyde St. San Francisco

$300.00 per person 

GSSA will provide: Snacks, beverages, rods, reels, tackle and equipment, and of course fun giveaways and great prizes to win.

You will need to bring: A fishing license (available online), cash if you want in on biggest fish jackpot, deckhand tips, etc. any personal items, and food or beverage based on your diet needs.
