Feather River Murky But Productive

Friend of the blog Manuel Saldana Jr. of MSJ Guide Service provided this Feather River update:

Even with low visibility in the water, the Feather River still putting out striped bass and catfish in the muddy water caused by the eroding bank in the Yuba River. That being said, Saturday I fished on the upper half of my day on the Feather River due to the water visibility being much cleaner. We caught stripers in both clear water and in chocolate milk water.

Things are just getting started on both the Feather and Sacramento river. As the Sac river drop’s and the, Feather river clears up bother rivers are going to to go off. Still had a fun day on the water.
