CDFW’s New 365-Day Licenses Can Be Purchased Starting Today
After the state passed a long-awaited proposal last month to make any purchase of a fishing license valid for 365 days from the date of purchase, starting today anglers who purchase a license can use it for it a full year.
Here’s what California Department of Fish and Wildlife said in a Facebook post today:
Beginning today, November 15, California anglers can purchase their 365-day fishing license!
Fishing licenses purchased for 2023, from now through the end of 2022, will become valid on January 1, 2023 and will remain in effect for a consecutive 365 days.
Any fishing license purchased after January 1, 2023 will be valid for a consecutive 365 days.
