Caples Lake Thaw Is On
Here’s an update from our friends at Caples Lake Resort:
We already have open water at Woods Creek Inlet on Caples Lake.
Bear River Reservoir thawed on March 28.
Historically, Caples Lake thaws six weeks after Bear River Reservoir.
This means Caples Lake will probably thaw by the latter half of May.
With a mild El Nino snowpack, Caples Lake should be full towards the end of June and the wildflowers will be fantastic this summer.
