GAIN MID-STREAM ACCESS TO FLY FISHING STREAM-SIDE NECESSITIES WITH
MINDSHIFT GEAR’S rotation180-degree PANORAMA BACKPACK

SANTA ROSA, Calif. – MindShift Gear’s rotation 180-degree Panorama backpack is a breakthrough in instant access to fishing gear, even while standing mid-stream. Without first having to take off the backpack, anglers can rotate the rotation180° Panorama’s beltpack to the front for quick access to fly boxes, a spare spool and/or reel, tippet material, fly and line dressings, a headlamp, a camera/GoPro, binoculars, and more. Then, in one swift motion, they can swivel and lock the beltpack out of the way back in its housing under the main backpack.
“With the rotation180° Panorama fishermen get the benefits of a chest pack without the cumbersome bulk and discomfort,” said Gene Sutton, MindShift Gear’s account executive and avid fly angler. “With this backpack they have the option of rotating the integrated beltpack to the front for instant access, or they can slide it up as a chest pack. Either way, it gives them instant access to stream-side necessities.”
In addition to the gear that can be carried in the beltpack, the upper backpack offers an array of other carrying options.  The top compartment can hold a rain jacket, food, and first aid kit. The side pocket can serve as a rod tube, and the tripod cup can hold another rigged rod carried on the exterior centerline. The second side pocket holds a 2.5 liter hydration reservoir. Professional fishing photographer Justin Hamblin noted, “This backpack has tons of useful features for fly anglers, like using the tripod holders to hold an extra rod tube and the fact that I can hang my net from the loop on the top of the pack or various other straps on the pack. It is very comfortable to wear, as well.”
Lightweight at under three pounds, the rotation180° Panorama backpack is available in two colors, Charcoal and Tahoe Blue. The removable beltpack can be worn separately for shorter outings. The breathable padded airflow harness with daisy chain includes an adjustable sternum strap and load lifters. And, at its design core, it has a pre-curved back panel with single aluminum stay for pack stability. The Panorama Raincover, sold separately, is specifically tailored to function with the rotation 180-degree technology.
