Wonderful weekend of Yellowfin Tuna let’s hope they keep moving up the line!
Owner/ operator Marcus Bailey called in this report, “Good area of yellowfin below the border for the last week or so. Yellowfin size up to 15lbs. With a smattering of school size bluefin mixed in. These fish love the live sardines. 20lb test with #2 hook was key. Fluorocarbon optional. Fish are 60 to 65 miles from Dana Point Harbor slowly moving up . Water is 70 to 72 degrees. The Fury is back out there now living the dream! ( tackle tip : Colt snipers and shimano poppers were working on the bow as well.)”
