March Madness Means SoCal Bass With Ojai Angler

The following is from our friends Marc and Amy Mitrany of the Ojai Angler bass fishing service:

This is the time of year to be out on the water!  Largemouth bass are moving up in the shallow waters this month ready for spawning season.  We received over 10 feet of water at Lake Casitas these last two months and water is still flowing in.  Water is getting nice and clear for sight fishing.  We have stunning beautiful spring like conditions with the green and bright yellow mustard flowers popping up everywhere on our stunning Ojai mountains. Deer and all wildlife is plentiful, Average fish size is 2-5 pounds with 10-plus-pounders ready to strike your bait at any given moment! Be ready to reel them in!

Kids may have SPRING BREAK this month perfect time to get them out during the week!  Live bait thread fin shad maybe popping up early this year again with this great weather pattern.
