Here’s a fishing report from San Diego’s Lake Jennings:

TROUT BITE

The hot spots for trout were Cactus Patch and the

campground shoreline. On multiple days anglers caught trout limits before 10 a.m.! Fishing the morning bite is best with nightcrawlers and Salmon Peach PowerBait.

Anglers, please remember that trout are not catch and release at Lake Jennings. The limit is five trout per person.

BASS BITE

The bass bite has been slow for anglers as trout are being stocked regularly.
